General Information
Salon Furniture
Pricing Information
Online Price is the price that is available to all Salon Ware shoppers. Not all online prices or online sale prices are available through your Salon Consultant or through our store. Salon Ware has tier pricing. We have licensed professional pricing and non-licensed consumer pricing. To receive professional wholesale pricing you must be a licensed cosmetologist and registered on our website. Registration approval may take up to 48 hours. Pricing subject to change.

Registration
To obtain access to our professional only portion for wholesale pricing you must be a licensed cosmetologist and your license must currently be active. Cosmetology students wishing to register must call our offices at 800.362.9467. Everyone who registers must go through an approval process. Please allow 24 – 48 hours for approval. If you have been a Salon Ware customer previously we can set you up right away. Please contact customer service.
Do you price match with a competitor?
YES! If you can find a competitors in-stock item that is identical to our item and have a shipping quote from our competitor, we will beat their combined price + shipping. This is because some of our competitors will price their items lower than our prices, but then charge you higher prices for shipping or freight. The competitor’ s item must be in stock because some competitors drastically reduce the price of their out-of-stock items in order to get your interest, but then tell them that those low priced items are out-of-stock.
Why can't you ship professional products to my area?
Salon Ware prides itself on honoring our contractual obligations with our manufacturers. Our manufacturers grant us permission to be the exclusive representative of their brand within the confines of specific geographical locations. If we can not ship you your product due to your location we encourage you to contact the manufacturer to find out who you can purchase through in your area. Please see our links for the distributor or salon near you.
Why do you sell to the public directly?
Salon Ware’s goal is to help our salon partners build their business. This website is an extension of their salons retail center. All retail sales generated on this website are credited to the salon where the sale generated.
Why do you want to know where I get my hair done?
When making a purchase on our consumer website, we credit your salon with the sale when they are a Salon Ware customer. We ask for the salon name and city. If you can give us other information about your salon or stylist we would appreciate it.
How do I know my salon is receiving the credit for the sale?
If your salon is registered on SalonWare.com they can log in to view all their client purchases.
I am a salon owner. How do I get my credits?
If you are a registered salon and retail any of our exclusive professional hair products, your salon will receive a credit at the end of each month. You can view your pending credits by logging in with your user name and password.
What if I don’ t retail Salon Ware products? Can I get credit for my client’ s purchases?
For those salons not yet retailing a Salon Ware brand, your credits will accumulate for one year. All credits after one year are expired. Salon Ware will be happy to place your accumulated credits on your account. Contact us today to find out more.
Product Availability
If an item is available for purchase online, you will see the in stock Online if the product is only available online you will see Online Only. If an item is currently out of stock, you will see “ temporarily out of stock” . Most equipment items are not stocked and will be ordered at the time of purchase.
Backorders
Salon Ware will hold backorders per your request. These back ordered items will ship with your next order. If you choose to have them shipped as soon as possible they may be subject to regular shipping fees. Your shipping confirmation e-mail will indicate any items not shipped. You will not be charged for these items and they will need to be reordered unless you would like us to hold and ship with your next order.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery is quick with Salon Ware. We utilize FedEx in most cases. Please see the shipping map according to your zone. We have one flat shipping fee depending on whether it is a consumer purchase or a registered wholesale professional purchase. Consumer shipping fee is $4.95 regular ground, $9.95 expediated ground or FREE over $49 using regular ground. Our professional wholesale shipping fee is $12.95. Salon Furniture is billed at the same rate unless otherwise noted. Should you require lift gate service it is an option on the item to add this service. Any other additional fees are exactly what FedEx charge: C.O.D. fee $10, Residential Delivery fee is an additional $2.50. Saturday delivery or next day is billed at the exact rate we are charged.
Why is shipping less expensive for consumers?
Shipping fees are a no-win proposition for us and you alike. While we feel we are very competitive with our professional wholesale shipping fee’ s we realize that salons order in bulk and consumers generally do not. We also have to be more competitive due to the other websites trying to sell to your clients direct. We want to keep your clients just that, YOUR CLIENTS! While many of your clients are used to going to the drugstore with no shipping fee’ s we feel that more and more of your clients are looking for a more convenient avenue of purchasing their professional products, as long as shipping fees are reasonable.
What if I want to pick my order up?
YES! We’ d love to meet you and save you shipping costs. Pickup orders must be placed by phone. Pick up orders made prior to 12pm can be picked up the same day. Pick ups can be made by the cardholder or purchaser only!
*I have shipping damages or shortages?
Call us within 24 hours to report any shortages or damages. 1-800-362-9467. Please keep your original carton and all packing material.
I have a vendors license. How do I register that?
Once you register as a salon professional please fax or mail your vendors form to us and we will insert your vendors license information in your customer file. All sales are subject to tax until a copy of the vendors license is in our office. A vendors license on file does not exclude you from paying taxes on professional items such as hair color, perms and gallon sizes or furniture. However you will not be charged tax on retail items. No back credits will be given.

When will my order get here?
When your order is shipped from our distribution center, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that also includes your FedEx tracking number. Your can expect your order within 5 to 7 business days with exception to salon furniture or special order items.Simply visit fedex.com to track your order for up to the minute details on your delivery. For Salon Furniture unless in-stock please allow 1 – 2 weeks for quick ship or 4 – 8 weeks for other salon furniture items. Larger items will ship freight and you will be required to unload the items unless you choose the lift gate service as an option.
Can a cosmetology student order from your site?
Yes! As a professional dealer, we sell to licensed professionals and students who are actively engaged in pursuing their career in cosmetology. You simply need to contact us and tell us what cosmetology school you currently attend as well as the phone number and contact name so we can confirm your registration.
What colors do the styling chairs come in?
All chairs come in all colors. Some manufacturers charge an up charge for certain colors. Quick ship chairs are limited in color selection to still be considered quick ship. If you want a unique color allow 4 – 8 weeks for shipping. Unless otherwise specified, all chairs come in black. Even if the chair shown is not in black.
Using the Salon Ware Search engine
Our search box is located at the top right hand corner of every page on our website. Just type in the product name or brand you are looking for, like “ flat iron” or “ Shampoo” and hit search. You can also search by product number (Ex: SBS-264873).
Using Coupons
To use a coupon or promo code online, type the six-digit code or cut and paste your unique code into the space provided on the cart page. Unique codes must appear exactly, including dashes and case. Each coupon can only be applied once per order. If the promotion has expired or has not started, you will see a message that your coupon code is not valid at this time. If you receive a message that the criteria for the promotion have not been met, please review the terms of the offer. If the offer is specific to a loyalty program, you will be prompted to login with your card number.
TIPS:
- Make sure the item in your cart is the correct item associated with the promotion.
- Make sure you have the correct quantity in your cart.
- If you have a choice of free or discounted items or if the item has more than one color or size, you will need to add that item to your cart then enter the code.
- If you are attempting to combine offers that are not valid with other offers, you will see an error message.
- If you are attempting to redeem a shipping offer and you have an item that is unable to ship via the selected shipping method, you will see an error code.

All credit cards must be valid, authentic and you must be authorized to use them. If the charge is not authorized or accepted, we reserve the right to cancel your order without notice or liability. We reserve the right to stop accepting credit cards from one or more issuers. Your credit card will be charged when the goods are shipped to you.
To ensure the safety and security of your financial information, and prevent unauthorized use of your credit or debit card, Salon Ware.com performs security checks in partnership with third parties. Unfortunately cards may not pass the designated information and security checks. Failure to meet the appropriate security criteria will prevent SalonWare.com from completing your transaction. To ensure the security and privacy of our customers, we will be unable to provide additional details for any incomplete orders.
What is check by phone?
Salon Ware passes on the savings to you! SAVE 3% OFF your entire order with check by phone payment option. Check by phone works much like a debit card with exception that we do not need your card. NOTE - ORDER WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL a completed Check by Phone authorization form has been returned. Once this form is on file you will not have to submit another form to use the check by phone feature.
Sales Tax
Salon Ware is required by law to charge all applicable sales taxes for online orders in the state of Ohio. Applicable sales tax will be added to every order placed on SalonWare.com. The tax amount charged will be based upon Ohio sales tax rate. For salons with a vendor’ s license no tax will be charged on retail items only. All other items are subject to tax. Please consult your tax advisor for your state with respect to any other taxes that may be applicable with your purchase.
Using Express order
You can also type in the item number and quantity and just click add to order. Many salons find this method faster when placing large orders. For a complete list of our item numbers please print out our catalog for your convenience.
Returns & Exchanges
All items except salon furniture must be returned to our warehouse. We will gladly accept all other returns, up to 30 days from purchase. You will need the packing list that came with your order and the credit card used to make the purchase. Without a receipt, or after 30 days, we do not offer an exchange or refund— the customer must contact the manufacturer directly to take advantage of their warranty. All items must be in original condition. There will be no cash refunds on any wholesale returns. Wholesale returns will be in the form of an account credit only.
- Shipping will be refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly, damaged or defective and it is the only item on the order.
- Item must be returned in original condition and in original packaging including any paperwork, manuals or accessories. Items that are returned defaced or damaged will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
- We cannot accept COD’ s for returned merchandise.
- In the case of shipping damages please contact the carrier or our customer service department within 24 hours of receipt. 800.362.9467 Please save all shipping material and cartons.
- Credit will always be issued to the same card to which they were charged.
- Original shipping fees will be refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly, damaged or defective and it is the only item on the order.
- Due to health and hygiene concerns, no exchanges on hair extensions, cutting implements, blades or wax can be accepted for any reason.
- Holiday merchandise, used products or discontinued products are non-returnable.
- Special ordered items are non returnable. Salon Furniture is considered a special order item. See Salon Furniture.

Retain your tracking number as we will be unable to refund or replace your order without proof of delivery. Please allow 5-7 business days after your package has been delivered for return to be processed. This link cannot be used to return furniture or equipment items or items purchased in store. Returning Salon Furniture/Equipment Purchased Online
- All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee at our discretion.
- Salon furniture and / or Special ordered items are non-returnable.
- If a return is authorized, the invoice and the original packaging (that the order arrived in) are required to ship the merchandise back.
- For health and safety reasons, special restrictions apply on some items, such as foot spas, skincare equipment, etc.
- Furniture purchased online and returned without authorization or to the Salon Ware warehouse cannot be returned to sender and sender will not be issued a refund or credit.
Special Restrictions
- Electrical items and shears:
- May be returned for refund or exchange with an original receipt only, and dated within 30 days of purchase.
- Without a receipt, we do not offer a return— after 30 days, if product is defective the customer must contact the manufacturer directly to take advantage of their warranty.
- Synthetic and human hair, clipper and other blades, body jewelry, ear piercing and piercing implements and fashion earrings:
- ALL SALES FINAL, and cannot be returned for any reason.
- Promotional and free items:
- Promotional items and free items must be returned with the merchandise it was offered with in order for an exchange or refund to be processed. In addition, promotional and free items are non-returnable by themselves.
- Example: Purchase a blowdryer and get an item free— the free item will not be refunded for any reason. In addition, if the purchased item— in this example the blowdryer— is returned for a refund, the free must be returned as well.
- Example: Purchase a blowdryer and get a free bag— the bag will not be refunded or exchanged for any reason.
- Equipment:
- A customer has 30 days from the date of purchase to return or exchange regular in-stock merchandise— a receipt is required.
- There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned QuickShip or other catalogue merchandise.
- Equipment returns over $150 require authorization— call 1-800-444-7712 for more information.
- If a return is authorized, the invoice and the original packaging (that the order arrived in) are required to ship the merchandise back.
- Return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer.
- For health and safety reasons, special restrictions apply on some items, such as foot spas, skincare equipment, etc.
- All custom salon furniture is non-returnable, no-exceptions.
Salon Ware Policy
FURNITURE – Salon Ware warrants that the goods sold will, when delivered, be free of defects in workmanship or material. If any failure to conform to this warranty becomes apparent as to hydraulic pumps during the period of the manufacturers warranty from the shipping date, or as to upholstery, finishes, and reclining mechanisms not more than one year from the shipping date, not including any damage caused by water, fire, discoloration, fading or staining of fabrics or improper installation, tampering, mishandling, abuse or misuse of equipment, Seller shall, upon prompt written notice and compliance by the customer with such instructions as it shall give with respect to the return of defective products or parts, correct such non-conformity by repair or replacement. Correction in the manner provided above shall constitute a fulfillment of all liabilities of Salon Ware with respect to the quality of the products. The forgoing warrant is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties of quality, whether written, oral, or implied (including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for purpose). Warranties from all manufacturer covers parts only and do not cover labor.
GENERAL MERCHANDISE – For appliances and other goods, not including furniture, Salon Ware warrants that the goods sold will, when delivered, be free of defects in workmanship or material. If any failure to conform to this warranty becomes apparent during the period of not more than 30 days from the shipping date, Seller shall, upon prompt notice and compliance by the customer with such instructions as it shall give with respect to the return of defective products or parts, correct such non-conformity by repair or replacement. Correction in the manner provided above shall constitute a fulfillment of all liabilities of Salon Ware with respect to the quality of the products. The forgoing warrant is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties of quality, whether written, oral, or implied (including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for purpose). After 30 days from the shipping date, the manufacturer’ s warranty for the goods sold will be the sole correction available to the customer. The manufacturer has sole discretion to repair or replace goods according to policies set forth in their warranty. The customer has the sole responsibility to contact and return goods to the manufacturer for repair or replacement after 30 days from the shipping date.

Salon Ware Exclusives strives to provide current and accurate information on the Website. However, misprints, errors, inaccuracies, omissions or other errors may sometimes occur. Salon Ware Beauty & Barber Supply does not warrant that the content of the Website including, without limitation, products information and pricing, is accurate or complete.
